Care & Instruction
General Care
To keep your luggage and bags in good condition, regular maintenance is recommended. After use, gently wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or surface stains. For deeper cleaning, a mild soap solution may be used, but harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners should be avoided as they can damage the material and finish.
Always allow your bag to air dry naturally. Avoid using direct heat sources such as hair dryers or heaters, as excessive heat may cause warping or material damage.
Storage Recommendations
When not in use, store your luggage in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to sunlight or humidity can affect both color and material integrity.
If possible, keep your bags in a dust cover or protective storage bag. For structured luggage, avoid placing heavy items on top during storage to maintain its shape.
Handling and Usage
Nylvia products are built for travel, but proper handling will ensure long-term performance. Avoid overloading your luggage beyond its intended capacity, as this may strain zippers, handles, and wheels.
When using telescopic handles or wheels, operate them smoothly and avoid excessive force. Rough handling, especially during travel, can lead to unnecessary wear over time.
Zippers and Hardware
Zippers should be used with care to prevent misalignment or damage. If resistance occurs, do not force the zipper. Instead, check for obstructions and realign before continuing.
Occasionally, applying a small amount of zipper lubricant or wax can help maintain smooth operation.
Fabric and Interior Care
For fabric interiors, minor spills should be cleaned promptly using a soft cloth and mild cleaning solution. Avoid soaking the interior lining, as excess moisture can lead to odor or material damage.
Allow the interior to fully dry before closing or storing the bag.
Travel Considerations
During travel, luggage may be exposed to handling by third parties. While our products are designed to withstand normal travel conditions, cosmetic wear such as minor scratches or scuffs may occur over time and are considered part of regular use.
Using luggage covers or protective wraps can help minimize surface wear during transit.
